EAF is dedicated to the reuse of surplus electronic equipment, as opposed to the recycling as waste, as a commitment to the community and environment.
The 100% volunteer non-profit Electronic Access Foundation (EAF) is a 501(c)(3) with a mission to help end the digital divide by supplying refurbished technology to other non-profits who provide support to low income, veteran and disabled populations. We actively solicit the donation of desktop and laptop computers, flat screen monitors and other equipment that have been upgraded and is no longer going to be used primarily from businesses and schools. EAF offers free pickup, data sanitation or data destruction of hard drives, proper recycling through a certified R2 partner for unrepairable or truly outdated equipment and a fair market tax deduction for equipment donated.
Donations of equipment can be scheduled through our website at www.e-access.org. We also encourage you to LIKE US on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/electronicaccess and see where recent donations of technology have been made
Electronic Access Foundation (EAF) donates refurbished computers and other fully functional electronics, such as printers, televisions, DVD players, etc., to other local qualified charitable 501(c)(3) organizations. Presently EAF is providing computers to Middle Earth of NJ , Families and Community Together (FACT) of Union, NJ and Hurricane Sandy Resource Center of Toms River. Organizations like these work with hundreds of local individuals and families, redistributing the computers and electronics to those that need them most.
EAF's program will impact the lives of hundreds (eventually thousands) of students and families across the state of New Jersey, New York, Eastern Pennsylvania and Dallas,TX. Directly and/or indirectly, children and adults will develop the skill sets they need to advance in life. Persons with special needs and senior citizens will no longer have to leave their residence to access the Internet. Our efforts aim to help minimize digital disparities by reaching the underprivileged.
