TeamChildren’s body-mind program aims to ensure every child has the tools and opportunities they need to contribute and compete effectively in today’s 21st century digital, global environment. TeamChildren’s Digital Inclusion project has now collected, repaired, and distributed over 11,000 low cost refurbished computers to families, schools and organizations.

  • Mission Statement

    To End The Digital Divide.

By helping over 5,000 refurbished computers over the last 7 years, find new homes with economically challenged families, schools and organizations we have demonstrated that we can end the digital divide and in so doing strengthen our bottom line as individuals and communities throughout our region, around the state and across our nation..

  • Project Abstract

In our culture the largest group of people living in or around the poverty level are single minority women raising children without emotional, physical, or financial aid from the fathers of their children. As a further complication, many of these women have children with learning or developmental challenges…

Helping these families receive their own home computer is crucial to their success in today’s digital world. We can make the difference in how a family’s life turns out.

Our computers are donated by individuals and companies over 2,000 individuals have made contributions. Presently we have a few paid technicians/staff and a group of teenage geeks and senior citizens who volunteer on a regular basis. Everyone who volunteers for an extended period of time gains invaluable experience with using and troubleshooting computers.

  • Target Population

Low-income families without use of a computer at home and low-income schools that need low-cost computer labs
